Church and historic building inspections

Updated: Jul 27, 2023

Most churches or historic buildings are, by their very nature, old and therefore it is even more important to keep on top of annual or bi-annual checks for damage or wear and tear.

Using a drone can capture the hard to reach areas - but it can also capture the whole building and its plot to be able to see any issues and also to keep a record to look back upon on how things change over time.

No buildings or finance committee wants to see a large bill on the horizon, but equally to be able to spot things before they become a bigger issue is significant in planning for future maintenance.

When we carry out an inspection with the drone, it isn't always just the roof that we check. If required (and feasible) we can capture images of the whole building which can then be used to create a 3D model. As well as being a fantastic way to look at the whole building rather than image by image, it also give us a way of measuring. For example we could measure a section of roof that need repairing to get quotes - or a flat roof that needs replacing.

All the images can be downloaded for your own record or to submit with insurance renewals or insurance claims after storm damage.

A simple roof inspection if very cost effective, and providing the whole building service isn't as expensive as you might think. If you provide us with a postcode, we'd be happy to let you have a quote.
