Getting great photography at a static event is one thing, but to be able to get imagery from an event such as a triathlon is more difficult. Drones get a unique perspective when used for sporting events such as outdoor swimming, triathlons, cycling, marathons or any event where static photography won't work as well.
Drones can get up close (including using zoom) to some areas that are less accessible to a traditional photographer. They can even track a specific runner, cyclist or car for example.
